Social Cycling

“Society has too many prohibitions and too few
invitations”
Stance:
People often are afraid from interacting with other people
in public places especially if it evolves talking to strangers or even asking
them to do something together. These boundaries are enforced by our society and
create barriers between individuals when it’s the time to stick together and
strengthen our society. The Social Cycling invites people from different
nationalities to have a break from their busy life and throw all differences
between them and just produce a nice musical masterpiece.

The Social Cycling is a complete music/sport system
containing 4 cycling bike in a rectangle shape with a vending machine in the
middle. Every bicycle has a small LED tube linked to the machine and the faster
participants paddle the LED tube light. In addition, every bicycle is a part of
a music track and the better communication between the group the music is
better played.
At the end, when the LED tube is fully lighted it goes
inside the machine and 4 cans of drinks is out for all group members.
Target Audience:
1-
Partners who enjoy shopping day in the city.
2-
Youth with free time while going around the city.
Scenario of Use:
Person A approaches the bicycle and tries to paddle but
noting happened, then he sees the sign which says he needs to get 3 other
people to start cycling together. Then, he calls random people to join him
which starts the music track and the LED tube, then audience start to cheer
them, and at the end when the LED tube reaches the machine and 4 cans are out
for the participants.
